Hello there everyone,
Just as we all predicted, the Flowers in the Dirt episode/s are taking absolutely forever to put together, so thankfully my good friend MR. Antony Rotunno has decided to come and bail me out of my poor upload schedule.
Whilst we do eventually get around to covering the infamous bootleg, A Toot and a Snore in 74' (1992), be prepared for a patented "Paul or Nothing" digressional chit chat!
Make sure to follow Antony's spectacular John Lennon podcast, "Glass Onion:On John Lennon". Leave him 5 stars. Subscribe. Say hi. The works...
Here is the link for my CNN cameo. Make sure to watch till the end of the video! - https://edition.cnn.com/2020/04/25/us/the-beatles-yellow-submarine-trnd/index.html

Tuesday May 26, 2020
Hey folks, and welcome to another bonus episode of "Paul or Nothing", the place to get all of your Paul all of the time. Thank you once again for joining us during the apocalypse, and I hope you are all in the best of health!!!
As before, we're gonna keep it simple, as we inspect another motley crew of Paul McCartney covers. This means covers of songs written by Paul, not the other way around! Many of these songs were originally meant to be in part one, so I'm glad I am finally able to share them with you.
There are definitely a few keepers here...
I'll give you the songs, but not the artist. This episode includes covers of...
- Band on the Run
- Ebony and Ivory
- With a Little Luck
- Heart of the Country
- Silly Love Songs
- Let Em' In
- Mrs. Vanderbilt
- Maybe I'm Amazed
- ...and many, many more.
Make sure to send in your own suggestions for cover versions you would like me to review in future episodes. Hit me up at paulmccartneypod@gmail.com.

"Paul McCartney Pop Quiz": Paul or Nothing Bonus Episode #43.
Friday May 22, 2020
Friday May 22, 2020
Hey everyone, this episode was recorded during a period where I have been (mostly) without a computer to work on. Thankfully, good friend of the show, Mr. Tom Kwei arrived with a mac, a mic, and big book of Beatles-based trivia questions.
Nothing too complex, just a little tidbit to tide you over till "McCartney Covers 2" and both parts of Flowers in the Dirt are completed. This was completely impromptu, so please forgive my scores...
Make sure you play along at home, and drop me a message to either paulmccartneypod@gmail.com or @mccartneypod to let me know how you did!
Please enjoy. Hare Krishna. Peace and love.
Check out "Punnit", Tom's pun-based gameshow, of which I have now won five episodes. It's really fun and we would love to hear your feedback. Find it at...

"Paul McCartney Covers": Paul or Nothing Bonus Episode #42.
Tuesday May 05, 2020
Tuesday May 05, 2020
Welcome everyone to another bonus episode of "Paul or Nothing", the place to get all of your Paul all of the time. Thank you for joining us yet again, and I hope you are all in the best of health!!!
We're gonna keep it simple today, as we take a look at a semi-random mix of Paul McCartney covers. That being covers of songs written by Paul, not the other way around! Of course, with Paul's Beatles compositions being widely lauded as some of the most widely covered tunes of all time, I thought it was only fair to highlight a broad range of songs, covered by a broad range of artists, in a broad range of styles.
I could put all of these things on a "broad-street", but no...
I'll give you the songs, but not the artist. This episode includes covers of...
- Let Me Roll It
- My Love
- Coming Up
- Power Cut
- Silly Love Songs
- Live and Let Die
- Girlfriend
- Temporary Secretary
- ...and many, many more.
Make sure to send in your own suggestions for cover versions you would like me to review in future episodes. Hit me up at paulmccartneypod@gmail.com.

Hello everyone and welcome to the first of (yet) another side series on this podcast where I will be going back and reviewing anything I may have missed in the original chronology of the show.
Today we will be talking about The Family Way, both the film and the soundtrack "by" Paul McCartney.

Hope you're all safe.

Monday Apr 13, 2020
Hello everyone, and welcome to what is (I guess) another instalment of "A Conversation with...". Is it a regular bonus episode? Is it its own side series? Who knows?
If you remember our last bonus episode on "Hey Grandude", then you will recall the bonus audio from a man who, for legal reasons, I can only refer to as "Friend of the show" Andy, or just Andy.
For those who may not have heard that audio, firstly go back and check it out, as it will help further contextualise the world of our conversation, but the cliff notes version is that Andy was a super fan of McCartney in the 80's. A typical second generation scruff, he followed Macca's every move and gathered quite a few stories, trinkets and opinions.
After I heard his audio I knew I would have to have him on to talk about EVERYTHING, and here is the conversation we had which includes...
- Meeting Paul and Linda McCartney several times.
- Witnessing the recording of multiple McCartney TV specials.
- Interviewing Ringo for a Dutch Beatle fanzine.
- How modern music habits affect listening to a McCartney album.
- Annoying George Harrison.
- Singing "Again and Again and Again" to a forgetful Denny Laine.
- Being quizzed on subterfuge methodology by McCartney himself.
- Why Back to the Egg is underrated.
- ...and much, much more!!!
Andy was a gentlemen, and a pleasure to speak with.
Please check out his YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/FanOfWings
Please enjoy. Hare Krishna. Peace and love.

Thursday Mar 05, 2020
Thursday Mar 05, 2020
Hey there chillers, and welcome to another episode of Paul or Nothing.
Today we will be reading out loud and looking at pretty pictures as we explore Macca's latest foray into children's literature, "Hey Grandude" (2019). This book and/or picture picture book features the adventures of the magical, titular Grandude who whisks his four chillers (grandkids) off on some very whimsical adventures.
Will it compare to "Moby Dick", Homer's "The Odyssey" or Band on the Run??? Come find out...
Also, as a bonus, make sure you stay past the end of the regular "Hey Grandude" episode to listen to some exclusive stories from the Press to Play-era from one of our awesome listeners.
Please enjoy. Hare Krishna. Peace and love.
