Hi, hi, hi, the night is young,
Yes, we have another bonus episode of Paul or Nothing where we continue my ego boosting, self aggrandization as I, once again, will attempt to do a bit better than the most successful recording artist of all time by telling him the way IIIIIIIII would have released his synthy-techno epic.
Basically, I will be taking all the material from the McCartney II sessions and hopefully I will be able to craft something that would have been received a little better by the critics back in 1980. At least that is the plan anyway.

I began podcasting with Tom Kwei back when we started the podcast that I never ever talk about, 'Down in the Hole', and we have both been addicted ever since. Without this man I would not be in podcasting and I would still be a social pariah. Hello, greetings to all and welcome to a highly anticipated episode of 'Paul or Nothing'!
Today, we will finally get to download, upload, and reload the semi-sequel to the very first solo McCartney release, and one of my favourite releases in his entire canon. McCartney II is a cult album within the Macca mythos, and I am certainly a member of that cult. If you like synthy-madness, Macca silliness and more experimentation than a hippy sex commune, then this is McCartney release for you.
In this part one we will go through the entire history of the album, it's recording, and a certain holiday to Japan where Paul's love of a certain aromatic herb will once again land him in some very hot water indeed. We also indulge ourselves in the lead up to Paul's infamous bust, as well as the elusive conspiracies that lie at its heart.

Today we will be taking off with another one of our gig reviews, where we find a particular live show from Paul's history and analyse its pro's and cons, regardless of whether we've covered the music therein before or not.
Today we will be exploring the final 'official' gig from Wings' final 1979 UK tour, and I will attempt to twist your collective arms into joining me in the "Wings-final-lineup-was-best" camp. Will it work? Probably not, but that still doesn't stop this from being my favourite live show from this period.

Hello folks, and welcome to the first true bonus episode for a while!
This has no connection to the main series or any of our side series, this is literally just an obscure piece of Macca content that I just had to riff on for a while, and I hope you like it!
'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' is a quiz gameshow that started here in the UK and spread to all four corners of the globe with its solid format, intriguing questions and mind numbingly hypnotic theme tune. Aaaaaaaaaand for some reason, Paul decided to give it a go. How cool is that?
Literally a few hours ago it was just announced that Who Want To Be A Millionaire is going to be back with Jeremy Clarkson as the host. If I had waited just one more day I could have mentioned it, but oh well!

Greetings, and welcome back Paul bearers. If you are here then, of course, you are after some more Back to the Egg chit-chat, and honestly, there is no better place to be as we crack the shell of this, long incubated, 1979 Wings release. Some of the songs discussed here today rank amongst Macca's very best...so it's just a shame some of it also ranks amongst the worst.

Welcome Back...to the Egg folks. I'm sorry that one was too easy. Yes, welcome back indeed to another episode of Paul or Nothing, the place to get all your Paul, all of the time, and today we are going to analysing Wings final swan song performance on vinyl. Now this is either a deceptively cohesive album, or a complete mess that works, but either way this is Wings 1979 release, 'Back to the Egg'.
My guest today, is Andre Homan, a Paul McCartney blogger, fan and all around keeper of the flame, in terms of writing actually intersting McCartney content. He really knows his stuff when it comes to McCartney, there would basically be no blog without him, and he keeps me sane on FaceBook when I want to talk about Paul at 3am.
