Hey there y'all! I told you the next "Listen With Sam" was going to be sooner than the last didn't I?
Yes, welcome back to another instalment of "Listen With Sam" where we sit back and relax with a Paul McCartney record and listen it. Easy right? Well, sadly you have to hear me yammer about said music, but I'll try to make it interesting. This time, we have 1975's Venus and Mars.
Please enjoy, and don't expect Wings at the Speed of Sound till I get around to some other sorely neglected side series...
Peace & love. Hare Hare Krishna.

Hey there everyone,
We are back with the third instalment of our Covers side series, where we have been exploring the vast world of artists covering Macca's music. Once again it is time to review a random-ass bunch of covers, but thankfully, this time I shan't be doing this alone.
Today I am joined by John Davenport of the "Under the Covers" podcast. "Under the Covers" is a brand new podcast that is doing the dutiful deep dive on all-manner of covers in music. However, being the clever man he is; he has started with mostly Beatle/solo-Beatle content thus far, and so it makes him the perfect companion for this episode, and hopefully more in the future.
Go check out John's podcast, and follow his socials. Links down below!
Please enjoy!
Peace & love. Hare Hare Krishna.
Time Stamps:
- Intro & Housekeeping: 00:00 - 17:05

"Another Conversation with Luca Perasi": Paul or Nothing Bonus Episode #56.
Monday Jan 11, 2021
Monday Jan 11, 2021
Hey there everyone, and welcome back to a very nostalgic episode of Paul or Nothing!
Today we are most fortunately joined by seminal Paul McCartney author and authority, Luca Perasi. Luca's book, "The Paul McCartney Recording Sessions: 1970-2016" helped establish the tone of this podcast, and helped shape my formative opinions of McCartney.
Luca was my very first guest, and perhaps my first returning guest on this show, and we used this opportunity to catch up on everything that has happened since we last spoke, including Egypt Station, McCartney III and perhaps even something new just over the horizon...
I hope you enjoy this loosey-goosey chin wag.
Peace and love. Hare Hare Krishna!
Time Stamps:
- Intro & Housekeeping: 00:00 - 22:19
- Interview with Paul Dugdale & Review - 22:40 till end.

"Interview with Paul Dugdale": Paul or Nothing Bonus Episode #55.
Saturday Jan 02, 2021
Saturday Jan 02, 2021
Hello everyone, and welcome to another special, exclusive episode of Paul or Nothing!!!
On December 25th (aka Christmas Day), Paul McCartney released his 2018 concert film, "Paul McCartney Live...at the Cavern Club (2020)" after almost two years sat on the shelf.
Today, we have the pleasure of speaking with Paul Dugdale, the director of this concert film. In this episode we discuss some of Mr. Dugdale's other films (including "The Rolling Stones: Ole Ole Ole", and Taylor Swift's "Reputation"), before then moving onto the concert film itself. We cover the shoot, meeting Paul, the difficulties of filming in the Cavern, the editing process, why the film has come out now, and most importantly of all...the notorious incident involving Macca and camera phones.
Once again, many thanks for Paul Dugdale for taking the time to come on this silly little podcast.
Time Stamps:
- Intro & Housekeeping: 00:00 - 34:10
- Background Context: 34:40 - 40:30
- Interview with Paul Dugdale & Review - 40:30 till end.
Peace & love. Hare Hare Krishna.
